Guest Speaker Bio
Deborah Coplin
Deborah Coplin was born and raised in Kingston/St. Andrew,Jamaica; the product of a Jewish father and a Catholic mother and was raised in the Catholic Church. At 14 years old, she heard the gospel for the first time at an old-fashioned tent crusade, walking home from a friend's house one evening. Deborah fell in love with Jesus Christ there and then, and she’s been holding on to the edge of His garment ever since.
In 1986, Deborah transferred from the University of the WestIndies to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she majored in Telecommunication/Journalism. Upon graduation, she started a seven-year career in Radio, but God had a completely different plan for her life!
A deep desperation for Christ is a prevailing force in Deborah’s life and she states that every other thing that she has ever achieved is absolute rubbish when compared to His call.
Deborah lives in Edmond, Oklahoma where she serves at Crossings Community Church in the choir and on the worship team.
